High Tensile Felt Roofing
This type of roofing essentially looks like the traditional "felt roof" but is incredibly durable. Unlike traditional felt, High Tensile (sometimes called elastomeric) will stretch and form with your roof. This is important as roofs tend to expand and contract with weather changes.
Over the years, traditional felts tear and leak. Built up felt roofing is one of our specialities. We will gladly spend as much time as you like explaining the different options and pricing. Of course, our recommendations very much depend on the individual roof.
Insulation and Vapour Control
It is probably accurate to say that the vast majority of leaks are caused by incorrect procedures and systems. Our essential ingredient in laying a roof correctly is vapour control. Enabling a roof to breath allows for expansion and contraction. If this vital system is left our or laid incorrectly, the roofs life is dramatically shortened. Unfortunately this is a "Cowboy's favourite shortcut". Depending on your roof, the insulation can also play a vital role in weather proofing.
